Where Is Lighthouse Baptist Church?

We are located in Brantford, Ontario. Brantford is known as the Telephone City. Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone here. Our church is in what is commonly known as West Brant.

What does Lighthouse Baptist Church offer my family?

Sunday School

            • We have Sunday school classes for all ages. Right from the young children to
                the adults.
            • Our Sunday school classes start at 10:00 am.
            • We use the Kings Kids material so the children would be grounded in God’s
                Word.
            • Pastor Payne teaches our adult Sunday school.

Child Care

• We have a trained mid wife on staff at our church. She has worked as a nanny
for nine years.

Preaching Services

Our preaching is direct from the Bible. We believe that the Lord must be lifted up
in all that we do. The services are Sunday morning at 11:00 am. Sunday Evening at 6:00 pm. We also have a mid week Bible Study and Prayer Meeting Thursday at 7:00 pm.

At the conclusion of each service we have an old-fashioned altar call were you can do business with the Lord.

Singing

We sing all of the old fashioned hymns.
We have special singing from several of our church members.

Prayer

Our church 100 % believes in prayer. We start each of our services with prayer as well as end each with prayer. Our Thursday Night Bible Study and Prayer Meeting we intercede for many other people and churches. If you have a prayer request feel free to go to our prayer request page and leave a prayer request there. You can be sure it will be prayed for. We also have a Sunday night prayer meeting for both gentlemen and ladies at 5:40 pm.

Van Ministry

We offer a free ride to and from church for anyone who needs a ride.

What Should I wear?

There is no dress code at our church. However, many of our church members wear their “Sunday Best” for each service. Our philosophy is “come just the way you are, leave your millions at home but bring a open heart to learn what the Lord would like you to.”
