We are a church that centers itself on the King James Bible and preaches the Gospel; we also seek to exalt Jesus Christ in all that we say and do. We believe our ministry is different from many others today because we have chosen to be a Saviour Sensitive church and not a Seeker Sensitive one. Christ is at the center of all we do and the preaching and teaching are very practical and relevant.  If this is the kind of church you are looking for, we would be thrilled to have you visit with us in a church service very soon. About our Pastor

Our Pastor and his wife, Elsie, started Lighthouse Baptist Church on May 2nd, 2004.  After several months of praying for God's leading God showed Pastor Payne that West Brant needed a Bible Believing, Old Fashioned church to show the people the way to the Saviour. One night, God woke up Pastor and showed him out of the Bible in Romans 10:14 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"  At this time, Pastor stopped fighting with the Lord and started Lighthouse Baptist Church.
