Today is a day of grieving as we say good-bye to a fervent missionary, a beloved family member, and our faithful friend, Daniel Kokubun. So many have been touched by the sincere and generous life of Brother Daniel. Daniel shared a multitude of dreams with his wife Heather, and many of them came true. Now his dream of seeing his Saviour face to face has become reality, though it is much too soon for those who loved him. May our memories of this dear, godly man linger in our hearts and influence our lives until we join him with our Saviour one day.
The FBMI staff would like to publicly express our appreciation to all the people who have been praying for and supporting Daniel and Heather Kokubun over the last few days. We have been working together with Team Peru and the national churches to ensure that all of Daniel and Heather’s immediate needs are addressed, and we have observed the team and their churches pulling together in one accord. Thank you, Bro. Dan Hubbard, for your excellent leadership during this very difficult time; and thank you, friends, for continuing to love on Daniel and his wife and family.
Expressions of love for the Kokubun family may be given through these online options, or checks may be addressed to FBMI and designated for the Kokubun Compassion Fund and mailed to 507 State Street, Hammond, IN 46320.
